Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional support and counseling to our patients with diverse health and wellness needs.
- Coaching through our telehealth format through phone calls and secure messaging with members.
- Document and communicate nutritional care plans in accordance with established standards of practice.
- Collaborate with team members to provide patient-centered care.
- Participate in monthly Case Reviews with fellow RD’s to contribute the success of the team
- Get licensed and credentialed to meet the requirements of our clients
- 40 hours per week with 1 evening shift
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 to 10+ years of experience as a Board Certified Dietitian
- Active RDN status in accordance with CDR and state licensure criteria, and the ability to apply for a license(s) in multiple states.
- Language proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable working with members presenting with multiple clinical conditions (CKD, Diabetes, Hypertension, Anemia, NAFLD, etc)
- Strong clinical and counseling skills using an evidence based approach
- Extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities (i.e. motivational interviewing), intuitive eating, and MNT
- Self-starter and can manage in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and
- Build rapport, credibility, and engagement with members over the phone with exceptional communications skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Constantly up to date with current nutrition research and industry developments.
- Previous technology work experience not required; however, must be comfortable using and applying technology to nutrition practice and objectives.
- Contribute in a group setting as well as give and receive feedback.
